Members
Africa Creatives Alliance is building an impactful network of intermediaries such as creative hubs, makerspaces, pre-incubators, incubators and accelerators. Members of the network benefit from access to information, various kinds of skill building and exchanges on investment solutions.
We believe that intermediaries play a pivotal role for the activation of the creative economy across the continent. That is why ACA tasks itself with orchestrating the development of a strategic network, as well as empowerment for this network. Already we have programmes in the pipeline addressing investment, data and training on AfCFTA/ CCIs. We are also working on the integration of arts & designed based innovation skills in creative hubs.
But we need to know further from you what is needed.
Engagement webinar 26th February
We are in the process of identifying, and liaising with, intermediaries.
In this process we would very much like to get in touch with you.
This webinar is for the representatives and managers of creative hubs, makerspaces, pre-incubators, incubators and accelerators across Africa.
The discussion with these representatives will be contextualized by key points and insights from the ACA study “The Moonshot 8, An Orchestrated & Prosperous Creative Economy, Catalyzing Sustainable Growth In Africa” Through this webinar, you can co-create the Alliance’s programming and ensure it is tailored to your needs.
When: 11 EAT on 26th February 2025
Where: Zoom
Registration: Register here
Participants: We particularly welcome representatives and managers of creative hubs, makerspaces, pre-incubators, incubators, and accelerators across Africa.
- The goal of this webinar is to introduce the alliance, its mission and initiatives to intermediaries within the African creative economy, as well as for the alliance to better understand how to cater to the needs of these entities by developing the right interventions to support their work in building entrepreneurs.
- To encourage meaningful and engaging conversations among the various intermediaries' representatives, we shall have breakout sessions that will focus on one of the following suggested topics; Trade, Investment, Data & Information (meaning a flow of public administrations & intermediaries), Entrepreneurial life cycle value chain and ecosystem, IP networks (policy, regulation, enforcement and leveraging IP for economic gain and as collateral), Governance and business models for intermediaries. We are excited to learn from and engage with you all.
Are you a creative hub, makerspace, incubator, or co-working space?
Let us know you exist and tell us how you think Africa Creatives Alliance can support your work and development.
