Challenge Overview

MoTIV Africa is excited to announce the launch of the $12K Challenge for African Creatives, specifically creatives in Uganda. This innovative competition aims to catalyze and support creative innovations that can transform the landscape of Africa’s creative sector.

The $12K Challenge invites individuals, teams, and organizations across Africa to submit their creative innovations and ideas. Participants are required to present a compelling pitch outlining how they would utilize the $12,000 grant funding to bring their project to life and contribute to the growth of the creative economy.

Who Can Participate?

Age: Between 18-35 years old at the time of application.
Residency: Participants must be residents of an African country.
Project Stage: Open to ideas at all stages – whether it’s a spark, a flame, or a raging fire!
Individuals, Teams, and Organizations: Individuals, teams of collaborators, and registered organizations are all eligible to participate.
Participants: Individuals, teams, and organizations are welcome.
Focus: Projects within the arts, culture, design, entertainment, media, fashion, and tech-related innovations.
Commitment: Participants should be committed to bringing their creative projects to fruition and utilizing the $12,000 grant funding to advance their initiatives in the creative economy.
Agreement to Terms and Conditions: All participants must agree to the terms and conditions of the $12K Challenge, including compliance with rules, deadlines, and any subsequent reporting or engagement requirements.
