Dear Professionals at Incubators, Creative Hubs, Makerspaces, and Similar Entities,
Dear Culture and Creative Industry Entrepreneurs,
The African Creatives Alliance embarks on a powerful journey to activate creative economies across Africa by engaging with key actors in the broader ecosystem, including policymakers.
Entities such as incubators, creative hubs, and makerspaces are central to economic development. However, we believe that none of us, individually, has been fully empowered or equipped to make this vision a reality—especially not alone.
Entrepreneurship in any sector requires advanced lifecycle support. When we focus on youth and the cultural and creative industries, the needs become even more significant. We must break down silos, build capacity, and enhance expertise. We are convinced that only by working together can we create a stronger economic foundation for the cultural and creative industries.
This is what we aim to co-create with you. That’s why we invite you to complete this survey.
The results will be shared directly with all respondents, and the goal is to mobilize the first wave of action and onboarding for Alliance members.
We use the term “culture and creative industries (CCIs)” in its broadest sense.
While different definitions exist worldwide, with varying degrees of inclusivity across cultural and creative subsectors, we welcome responses from incubator-like entities and entrepreneurs engaged in a wide range of activities driven by creativity, cultural heritage, and artistic expression. These may include disciplines such as the arts, crafts, audiovisual production, gaming, design, architecture, advertising, and libraries.
Sincerely,
ACA Secretariat
